Loris Tjeknavarian was born in 1937 is a contemporary Iranian-Armenian composer and conductor. He was born in Borujerd in the province of Lorestan
Tjeknavarian has made about 100 recordings and written more than 75 compositions and over 45 Film musics. In October 2010 he became the Conductor of the Glendale Symphony Orchestra in California.
